Tata Motors on Thursday unveiled the next-generation Tata Tiago hatchback and Tiago.EV models. With new styling, additional technology features and powertrain options like petrol, CNG and electric, it has further increased competition in the mass market hatchback segment.Here, they have brought different variants with cutting-edge features and stunning designs. These models have been launched to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, which are currently in the market.
The starting price of the next-generation Tiago petrol range (ex-showroom) is Rs. 4.69 lakhs. The starting price of the Creative+ trim variant is Rs. 7.29 lakhs. The starting price of the Tiago iCNG is Rs. 5.79 lakhs. The maximum price of this model is Rs. 7.99 lakhs.
The next generation Tiago EV model has also been introduced. Its ex-showroom starting price is Rs. 6.99 lakhs. This is for the 19 kWh Smart variant option. The prices of the 24 KWh battery pack variants are from Rs. 9.49 lakhs to a maximum of Rs. 9.99 lakhs. The company says that it will give a mileage of up to 215 km on a single charge. It can get a range of up to 100 km with an 18-minute charge.
